Of course it is a gauntlet that has been dragging down growth and making the general public disgruntled.The reservation system has not only been continued but also enhanced with more categories being added and politicians perpetually looking for favors because of this. The day caste system gets eradicated I am sure we can see positive growth and stability

The fact How Reservation system  eaten away the progress and development of this country since Independence is well known. Merit alone should be taken in to consideration for reservations, which is not possible in the present scenario of Vote Bank politics of the politicians.

somebody has to bell the cat. Who will do it. They say history finds the man, but in India we are waiting for 7 decades. I do feel that this caste system should be addressed by the UNO like apartheid.

Apartheid was completely wiped away despite UNO's initiative ? Like Apartheid, Caste based reservations continue in India. This is true.

 

 

 

The education and job should be on the basis of merit and not on the basis of caste. Otherwise, talented and capable people cannot reach in deserved positions. Government should take action to stop such unnecessary practices from this society. 

government failed in abolishing the caste system. Many ruling Parties, be it Congress or BJP shown ther interest in Vote Bank Politics.This is the staple food of any politician , without which, they cannot survive.

There is also reservation for minorities and categories like children of politicians and those in the police department and armed forces...They should all be abolished , not just caste reservations 

Any kind of Reservation, shows a preference . If at all any preference is there, that's for MERIT. Nothing else.

Forgot it that government will stop it. No one stop it. it will continue till the holocaust.

It is fact that person who need reservation is not getting it. It is big jock that children of IPS IAS needs reservation. Reservation is only to improve financial condition. A person after joining service, can earn enough to meet the requirement of the of their children, than why they are enjoying reservation. One time reservation is best one policy so maximum needy can took benefit of reservation.
