I quit smoking in May 2004 and haven't touched a cigarette since then. What I feel people have started using tobacco in other forms (which is as harmful) but cigarette consumption has gone down. The rates could be one of the factors.

No. Consumption of tobacco based products are soaring up and up day by day. Tobacco based products have that quality of making the consumer a slave. An addict. Cases like yours are quite exceptional. One in a Million.

Unless a person is consciously determined smokers normally do not quit...But many of the youngsters are a smart lot these days and are aware of the ill effects of smoking and I know of several cases where they have quit smoking for a long period of time or have reduced in some cases...

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

True. A change should come from within. People know the ill effects of smoking. They may stop smoking for a while. But there are more possibilities of resuming smoking with vengeance.

Such strange lifestyle factors lead to low dietary calcium intake which could lead to bone diseases, as well as many dangerous disease, Passive smoke also could cause serious ailments issues.
