Very good advice. But never saw any human eating mango skin. This is left for animals.

No sir, In fact most of the fruits have their rich nutrients in their skins.
New to me, as most of times skins are thrown up, but times is changing and with it comes newer revelations.

The peel consists of rich nutrients in their upper skin. I too did not know until now.
I never heard it but now I feel we should eat it. But that's not good in taste.
I normally eat mangoes with the skin since most good varieties have very thin skin... It is healthier to eat fruits with skin whenever possible since most of the nutrients are hidden between the skin and the pulp
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

I have heard it too but few of fruits like oranges are better to be eaten after being peeled off. ;-)
Normally we used to throw away the mango skin because it is hard and the taste is also bitter. But for some mangoes, the skin will be very thin and have some special taste, so we eat them without removing the skin, but without thinking about the health factor.

That's true skin of mango is bitter in taste if one compares it with the pulp. I have tried to eat mango with the skin but it's hard to eat it.
Actually this habit was developed from the childhood days. That is why we do not feel any irritation now while eating the skin.
