The main cause for a happy and long life is to be busy with some physical work like gardening, doing household jobs etc. with these habits, I have seen many who are smokers and drinkers leading a long and healthy life.
His life is busy with day-to-day physical activities and his mind has no tensions. He takes whiskey with a belief that it will keep his muscles tender. He smokes cigarette but has not worried that it is injurious to health. His mental attitude itself makes a lot of difference.
In my opinion mental tension is one of major reason which decrease life. Smoking or drinking may affect life but not essential that it may.
With right lifestyle and healthy food habits, the ill effects of smoking and drinking can be annulled.

Lifestyle itself is a wide thing. People having good lifestyle may never see a doctor.

Definitely. Exercise even for a short duration ,having sufficient sleep, maintaining good relation are some of the components in "Good Lifestyle ." such habits will make one free from ailments.

Yes being healthy is more important. I have seen people died early even they don't have any bad habit. But one should have healthy body with joyful life without any tension and all that. Tensionful life can give bigger damage than those bad habits.

A girl aged 8 years is suffering from cancer and she's almost on the death bed. The girl doesn't have any bad habits. Such cases are very less . If people have genetic problems, they die early. In general one can lead a longer and healthy life with regular healthyhabits from the very beginning.
True.. But if person have life with hyper tension and all that. They just live life in stress without having happy time then it is possible that their life get shorten.

First of all tell me why one becomes a victim of ailments like hyper tension, stress or cancer? It's due to lack of a healthy lifestyle .That's why it was mentioned a healthy lifestyle prevents all the ailments including life threatening ailments like Cancer, diabetes etc.
I think I'm able to make myself clear.
