The main issue is ever increasing population. The ever increasing population of man kind and rail/ road etc is leaving very little for animals, forests, agriculture. Also, it seems nobody is bothered about this.

True. Development in the areas of you mentioned are taken the back seat and development in the wrong pockets which was taken by mistake as development in depleting the natural sources like forests, animals etc. all natural calamities linked with these harmful activities. Its nothing but digging one's own grave.
Increase in population and high income lead to high lifestyle whcih aims at constructing cement structures and that creates hazards. Nature does not oppose but provides warnings, in the past there were many civilisations ruins due to this like Indus valley and ROme civilization which were destroyed due to mighty earthquakes.

Though the nature is ringing warning signals in different ways like Cyclones, Tsunamis, we are not paying heed to them. We deserve devastions of astronomical magnitude. Harmony with nature pays. Not conflict.

True...even concrete is laid at places where it really is not needed such as in society compounds everywhere is covered with concrete as soil is considered messy. But this leads to overheating in summers and rainwaters simply go waste and unabsorbed. We never learn from history.

Development is taken as high rising buildings built at the cost of annihilating the forestry and greenery . All natural calamities are linked with abuse of nature.

True./.. development generally means cutting down forests and wiping out natural habitats to build roads, bridges, malls and multiplexes. No one is interested in thinking about sustainable development.

The need of the hour is "Harmony with nature and not conflict." even in Vedas, it was said, "Vriksho Rakshitaha Rakhshita."
Save the tree. The tree in its turn saves you.
Yes nobody cares about nature and other resources these days. People just think about their self. If things will continue like this then future is not safe.
