PK is a Hollywood movie directed by Rajkumar Hirani released on December 19, 2014. This movie is about an alien from a far off planet. This is not anti Hindu story.

There is a core group which successfully since two years now successfully converts lot many issues into them being anti Hindu. This has polarised younger Hindus into believing that most of political parties under secularism umbrella are anti Hindu . This suits the present political set up as it brings them votes.Such attacks are going to increase as the beneficiaries are keeping a calculated silence. You are right in a country of 80+ % hindus it has earned more than 100 crores in about 4 days. Paradoxical.

Such things have happened before and will continue to happen since people have different view points...It does not matter which party is ruling since people of the nation are the same and there will always be some anti feeling in some regrading issues , not really worth making a fuss about. I remember how a fabulous film like Aandhi was banned by the then Congress government because it resembled Indira Gandhis lfe story... I guess we have come a long way since then since now only groups make noise and thankfully the government does not respond 

Why Ban?, when there are enough people to see and vie with each other and fall in the ques?

I think Aamir Khan is correct in saying those who don't like it don't ch the movie. Although this movie did dwell on religion, but it didnot say that any religion or following any religion is bad. Rather this movie conveyed a message saying that all human being are created by one God and it is we humans who have created discrimination based on religion. This movie highlighted the issue of blind idol worshiping, to which I agree,we don't need to worship an idol to feel closer to God, we need compassion for human being and help each other to go closer to God. I impressed with this movie a lot, although I felt this movie is an extension of OMG, still it is worth watching. There should not be any ban on this movie.

It has kind of become a fashion to start controversies over certain movies and seeking ban on them as if the judicial system in India has no productive work to do so it is their personal responsibility to see that the honourable judges get some work! ha ha ha! Those who don't like it, better don't watch the movie!

I can answer just one question here, Sulman Rushdie and Tasleema Nasreen were asked to be banned after so many Muslims had read their books. Hindu being too soft a target and too adjusting accepts everything gracefully.  Say a word about any other religion and see what happens.Is that free expression allowed for saying against Hindus only or others come under the same rule too?

So you want Hindus also to become like other religionists and become a closed religion where there is no freedom to evolve with changing times. Then where is the difference between Hinduism and other religions. It is these positive difference that make Hinduism a great religion. Its ability to give latitude to its followers  to think as they like and still remain in its fold is unique. Let us not react negatively but respond positively.
