Religious fanaticism in any religion is bad.the Sanskrit word for religion is "Mat". Which means "Liking or willingness". Fundamentalists of all religions distorted the meaning of religion for their own advantage.

There is just one issue. The Hindutva lobby claims that everyone born in India is Hindu. Then why change anyone to Hindu?

Thats because other religious fanatics of other religions are forcing the Hindus for conversion in to their religions. Last month in Tirupati a group of Christian fathers were caught spreading Christianity. This move of Hindutva lobby is to counterI such conversions.
There should be a law governing the change of religion by any person. It is true that the Christian missionaries consider it their right and duty to convert poor tribals and similar to Christianity and are reminding about this is allowed in the Constitution. Why they have this urge to spread their religion is not understood unless there are commercial considerations. Hindutava lobby are reacting to these conversion attempts and cannot be overlooked. A law is needed.

'Christianity' and 'Islam' are religions. But the 'Hindutva' forces claim that Hindu is not religion but way of life and every Indian irrespectie of way of worship is HINDU. If all irrespective of way of worship which means that even Muslis and Christians born in India are Hindus, where is the need to conert them. when you use the word 'other religions' it means 'Hindu' is also a religion like others and the Hindutva forces give the false representatin o Hinduism being a way of life, nationality and so on.

Therefore others have right to convert Hindus to other religions but if Hindus tried to bring them back they are offenders. It happened in Agra, your city so you should know they claimed to be converted Hindus therefore decided to come to India from Bangladesh.
Bringing back is taking a lawyers clever approach. By this logic if a great grandfather has committed a crime his great grandson can be sent to jail. The converters should be bold and say that they are converting them into Hinduism. Then let the law take its own course. The smart but illegal Bangladeshis have perhaps found a good way of becoming citizens of India - get converted and identity proof will be provided to legalise their stay in India by fanatic organisations. Intellectuals will vent it out in forums like these. A anti conversion law should be made.

The government has offered to make anti-conversion a law but no opposition parties are ready to take it. And yes news like these always go unnoticed

The govt should introduce a anti conversion Bill and force the opposition to take a stand. Yes any forcible conversion is wrong.

Because the opposition's only motto is to stall the Parliament.
