    Sardar Patel was indeed a great administrator. He needs to be remembered for his contributions. However it is possible that the calculate manner of his projection being done by BJP may polarize his followers which will be unfortunate.Sardar is above party politics.

    Sardar Patel was a great leader and had he survived a few more years and led the coutry right from the beginning peobably things would have been different today...The nation is proud to have a leader of his stature who will be remembered with respect and high esteem !

    He was one of the most respected and among the best administrators this country ever had. My personal opinion is he would have done far better as PM of this country.

    Most respected leader and unites India, when Britishers left numerous princely states as he would not have been we would have been many countries small in sizes, he deserves respect for this great country.

    He was one of the most respected and among the best administrators this country ever had. My personal opinion is he would have done far better as PM of this country.


    Any way, he was Deputy P..M. Even if were P.M., he had only short life. after his demise, Nehru would be promoted as P.M. Any way, Nehru and Patel were colleagues and they worked as a team. We have gratitude for both leaders for their contribution to modern India.

    Today because Modi and BJP is taking the intiative to remember him the way he should be, we get to hear Congress party and its supporters criticising their intent, one wonders would they do the same had Congress done the same ?
