    Its a very good move./ Many rich and affluent people can afford cylinders at regular prices, their taxes are also no different from those earning very little income so why should they get any subsidies.

    Unless such subsidies are slowly and gradually taken away, our economy in public sector will not improve.

    Very true. Since long our economists were saying subsidies are a burden on the exchequer .now I'm glad this government took the cue and implementing .

    And it's the responsibility of the government that the subsidy should reach the real deserving.
