    This is height of stupidity. All western cultures are not bad. Or all oriental cultures are not good. Wisdom lies in picking the best from any culture and discarding the bad.

    We need to live naturally and need not actively follow or discard anything. Being a global village, we have mixed culture and heritage that has rsultd from interaction between various communities, linguistic groups, races and nationalities. Western as well as Indian music, North Indian/ south Indian/ international dishes and dress are all part of our composite culture.

    But these are crimes by ordinary folks. They will act alike whatever be culture- Indian or western. The emphasis is that moral standard is not related to Indian or foreign culture as such.

    Tourism is the biggest money grosser for Goa and if ministers and people who govern make such statements tourists will look elsewhere ! Having adopted everything western Goa today is considered to be an International tourist destination ..

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
