If the intention of the government is to objecting the misuse of premises of educational institutions for religion, I support the ban. But how Ramadan fasting is injurious to health of the students ? Fasting irrespective of any religion has been agreed by the Health experts as a healthy practice.

If you regularly eat moderately, you need not fast o certain days. It is better to eat at regular intervals and neither over eat nor under eat. But if you get some stomach trouble, it is okay to skip food for one time. Personally, I never fast. I may add that Sikhs never observe fast. They consider it a sin to be hungry. That is why they established langars at many places to ensure that nobody is hungry.

The real issue in China may be anti religion policy of government. The Chinese government have a different idea of secularism. For them religion is opium and this should therfore be curbed.
