Some of the laws are indeed very ridiculous, but I applaud the Africans for giving the right of the way to the sheep, goats, ostriches etc. They are the rightful owners of road than automobiles! It should be the case in most countries only then will people take nature more seriously!

Do you think that India lags behind in enacting such bizarre traffic rules? Our Gou Matas and Buffalo matas are allowed to roam freely on the roads and contribute their mite in causing accidents?

In India, we have unwritten rules. One such rule is that footpath is primarily not for pedestrians but is for the small retailers.

I agree with you. Unwritten or written rules if they are not implemented what's the use? An unimplemented traffic rule is much worse than these Bizarre rules.
