When I was ten years old I travelled with my parents with daddy's LTC towards north India, We have been there at Ferozbad and plenty fo glass material there, if I could recall, now I came to know that all these are produced with child labor, it feels bad though.

The worst form of slavery is found at Sivakasi in Tamilnadu where all the fire crackers are made under the most dangerous and unhealthy conditions.Almost 80% of the labor force is children and noone has done anything much so far...Every year there at least a few deaths because of the kind of work involved..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

I have seen many a times small girls working to earn their living. They are either found weaving or stitching or designing the clothes. I have seen them doing hard and laborious work also. May be they work on the road sides, breaking bricks or dumping the soil, etc.

However, in some cases, children don't have choice rather than to work and earn money. They are alone. I feel government should provide them some aid to eradicate child labour from India.

There are many acts banning child labour. But they remained as acts only unimplemented and uncared.

There is collusion between Inspectors of labor department and employers. Here also corruption is the main culprit.

Parents are helpless Poverty drives them to force their children to go for work, They see an earning hand in them.
Small kids, especially girls, working in building construction areas are wide spread now. Be it metropolitan, cosmopolitan, or even a small city, such situations have increased every where. I feel that is insane human nature to force such kids to work for earning.

Unfortunate but it is an imminent truth that every such thing happens and everyone looks helpless.
It is the poverty that is compelling them to involve such activities, I do not think slavery exists but poverty is making them indulging with it.

This is new kind of slavery. Now everything is subtle.. Circumstances force people to accept slavery type conditions.
