Some time back Congress vice president opined that poverty lies in mind. But there is also reverse connection between mind and poverty. Poverty disable you from rational decisions. If you have more money, you would decide better as you have resources to risk.

Poor have less money so does lesser nutritious foods and this affect rational thinking as it can develop the brain in half from child hood. Mind becomes half hazard and so does decision making, with poverty the literacy level is abysmal and this hinders progress as illiterate persons tend to be attracted more towards indecision. This spells doom for them.

During my matriculation one of class fellows was from a extreme poor family and he used to seat under street lights to study, he is successful. There are instances probably exceptions.Poor have less money so does lesser nutritious foods and this affect rational thinking as it can develop the brain in half from child hood. I have thousands of examples where persons from very poor section made it to top and still remained very honest. It is all about willingness to achieve, although food and money play their role.
