The church and other established religions stress that they serve universal need of people. In India, the 'saints' including the 'rape accused' claim that there is no salvation without 'religious guru or saint'.
Is this true. The history of mankind is much longer than that of religion. There are ground to believe that we can live without religion- at least organized religion. These only boost superstition, mental slavery and close our minds.

Very nice point of discussion gulshan ji. Religion is created to divide , to rule and to keep people under control...

Here I may give example of North East states. Prior to British rule, they had no religion. The tribes would of course worship Sun or trees but they had no organized religion. The Christian missionaries introduced them to organized religion. Apparently, they used to live well even without organized religion.

Hinduism is the oldest religion, and if there is still life without religion then it might be , but all these words has been to attract and lure to the religions nothing more, as every religion taught to worship inside your own home,

I don't think religion teach us anything except letting us know that we are different from others. That our rules and our way of living is different from them..

Very correct. Basically all human and their needs are similar but religion divides humanity.

Agreed sir.. except humanity everything is there.
There are only three needs for the humanity. A morsel of food to fill the belly, a piece of cloth to protect the body and a roof above the head to save from sun, rain and cold. They are necessary for the survival. Nothing else.Cave man survived for centuries just with these needs. Hence he can survive without the other needs especially religion.
