What I cannot stand is overcrowding and noisy environment. If I were ever punished and asked to choose between lashes and overcrowded jail, I would choose lash.

I am not very knowledgeable about jails but I recently read about two prisons one in UK another in Russia where inmates enjoy five star facilities including sauna bath and grilled lambs. Wine and massage are common facilities which are available to every one with money. They call them 'hotels with bars' I think an ideal place to serve one's term just in case.

You need not go all the way to UK and Russia to find luxury prisons. Many central prisons in our own country you get all the luxuries for a price including cell phones and drugs.
