Good and bad news for Congress, BJP . Best news for others

There is some forecast that BJP has edge over Congress. So BJP will get more seats. Congress will get lesser. BJP will however find difficulty to get allies. Congress may attempt in name of secularism. But key will be in hand of 'others'. So we may expect a 'third front'.

    There is still lot of time left before election therefore it would not be safe to say where the balance is tilting to. Let the voters decide the fate of parties and their own in turn. Every party will have to pay for their misdoings in past years. BJP or congress both stand almost equal chances as far coming elections are concerned.

    Unless BJP improves its position in the states of West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh,where its presence is negligible right now ,setting aside the internal problems that rose due to projection of Narendra Modi as the PM candidate and finally patching up with Yedurappa within these 9 months before elections, certainly there is every chance of “OTHERS” ruling the roost.

    Much gap between cup of tea and lips. More than one year left for general election. If BJP will get more seats than Congress I think they will not face any problem of allies. All regional parties are hungry and greedy. But Indian public will pay for this allienments. All regional parties will rob fiercely.

    If third front is formed, then the government will not be stable for sure. I am saying this because if the third front has to be formed, it has to be formed with the help of SP/BSP, Trinamool/Communist, RJD,ADMK. They have already tried to create the third front but was not able to succeed in maintaining their rapport.

    A third front stands no chance without support of either of the two big players. Even if they form a government the country would soon face another election. There is no use toying with such a useless idea in the interest of this country. It is better to select an all party government with consensus.

    Third front is no positive idea that we may toy with. This is a matter of ground reality. Congress is likely to lose but not only to BJP but also to others- especially where BJP is almost non existent. any amount of wishful thinking cannot create BJP in such areas. Third front is nothing by itself. This results from combines weakness of Congress and BJP. This is based on the perception that the combined strength of BJP and Congress is less than 'others'. In such situation, third front emerges- whether you toy with the idea or not, whether this is useful or useless..

    Yes I agree , the parties which do not form alliance with Congress or BJP may form the third front, but as mentioned earlier the government will not be stable.

    If third front is formed, then the government will not be stable for sure. I am saying this because if the third front has to be formed, it has to be formed with the help of SP/BSP, Trinamool/Communist, RJD,ADMK. They have already tried to create the third front but was not able to succeed in maintaining their rapport.


    Instability is there and will be there. For a stable government the prime criteria is a single party rule and a strong opposition.

    Yes I agree , the parties which do not form alliance with Congress or BJP may form the third front, but as mentioned earlier the government will not be stable.


    This time we may see UPA in new form. This may be with non congress P.M. and congress included in alliance. Probably, we may have Sharad Pawar or some other non congress leader as P.M. while congress would also be an alliance partner. There should be no doubt about stability of such government.

    You never know the Aya Rams and Gaya Rams of Indian politics. By the time the election dates declared a lot of changes will be there to witness. A more dirty face of Indian politics there on the show.
