I would call it 'moronic' and this film star-turned-politician's observations go to prove how many light-years the political party which this buffoon represents, is away from the realities that an average Indian are confronted with!!!

He is like Sheila Dixit , another champion at making the most ridiculous statements ....they probably think that an average Indian has no brain because they have elected them...Honestly it is both shameful and scary to have such leaders who are the decision makers and have all the power and resources at their disposal !
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

It is also a brazen act to make mockery of woes of the common people of India! I don't know when the sons and daughters of Mother India would slap across faces of these shameless politicians for ridiculing their lives!!!

That is funny indeed. I am sure they know how much actual cost it is.. But still they are telling such thing!! Totally weird.

I think they are out to prove that they are aliens for planet earth who know nothing about this world. Yes that is the reality, people sitting in glasshouses can see things their own ways. Let them taste their own lunch and dinner come next election.

One congress leader said that lunch and dinner in Delhi is available only in 5Rs. And another leader, actor of Bollywood Raj Babbar add in it that in Mumbai meal in available only in 12/-. What a funny thing?
Yes when they keep hotels they can supply this foods at this cost.

The elected reps get everything for almost free, apparently their canteen provides them a meal for Rs 5 which is subsidied rate. What they dont realise is that even that is paid by the sweat and hard work of Indian citizens , who expect them to perform and make things better for the country ! And they have the audacity to talk like this ! Raj Babbar and Farooq who went one step further saying a meal can be had for Rs 1, must have been floating in a different world altogether while making such insensitive statements !

Now Raj Babbar is regretting for his remark that a square meal in Mumbai requires no more than Rs.12. It was pointed, even the highly subsidized ‘’thali meal” at parliament canteen costs more. God knows, how such irresponsible persons are entrusted the job of acting as ‘Spokesperson.”

Cost is definitely more but parliamentarians get subsidized food in their canteen. So they are unaware of common man's problems. Even for eating Chhole Bhature at my work place, I have to pay Rs. twenty. Perhaps, pea nuts could be bought for Rs. 5/-.
