Pakistani soldier stoned to death in love affair.

A Pakistani soldier posted on Pak Afghan border has been stoned to death by local tribal community headmen for an affair with a woman. Obviously neither government nor courts have any role in North west border area of Pakistan.

    There is no much difference in those areas and our areas- they have JIRGA there and we have KHAPS and self styled Panchayats.
    the Sunny guy tried to runaway a Shiya girl from the local area and faced the consequences.

    It is very common in that area of Pakistan. They are living in 10th century.

    Here at least there are agencies and voices to protest and counter the 'Khaps'. How can you equate that jungle,where no one can raise a voice (Though an exercise in futility) with India?

    I agree with you. We in South India are quite strangers about some bizarre practices in currency in the same country where I live in.

    It is no different in India where the village panchayat takes over and the politicians and the police look the other way ! There it is done by the muslims and here it is done by the hindus, that is the only difference !

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
