I read somewhere that youth waste away life by taking risks and not realising how precious life is, whereas older people know the value of life ....If one can have good health and remain fit, everyone would love to live another century probably ! :dry:

I read somewhere that youth waste away life by taking risks and not realising how precious life is, whereas older people know the value of life ....If one can have good health and remain fit, everyone would love to live another century probably ! :dry:

Although not relevant to the issue in the thread, the view is very significant. You do not realize significance of what is distant. Youth feel that they have enough life to live and so they can waste time unlike the elders who fear end of life and hence realize value of life. However. personally, I am worse than the youth. Even at around 70, I don't bother about life. I shall go on doing what I feel till I retire finally.

That's good concept to take life as it comes and I too never feel of living for long time. I think the period we live doesn't matters but the things that we do should make everyone remember us for generations.
