Thank you for highlighting the difference. Thus vegetarians eat dairy products whereas vegans do not eat any food of animal source including dairy product. But do they eat honey, which is also from bee and thus non veg.

If we go so deep to determine vegan or non vegan than most items would be out of reach of vegetarians. So I would keep it to the point whee we do not have to kill any thing living to prepare our food. For me honey is only body waste of bees and dairy products natural items produced not killing any animal. Because if dairy products go in non vegan list then mother's milk would be questioned seriously.

Well it is really questionable that whether they avoid mother's milk too...As many things are avoided in vegan category. Some people say that trees do have life like humans and animals, in that case they should avoid eating fruits and veggies that are products of plants and trees.

It started as a fad diet in the west and has become very fashionable now....The most practical thing to do would be to eat what is healthy and not bother too much about any kind of strict diets that advice you not to eat this or that...
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
