A good thought. Time is equally divided. everyone has only twenty fours hours a day. This depends on an individual how he uses this.

fast but irregular loses
fast and regular is always at top.
slow and steady may beat the irregular even if fast, but not the regular and fast.

Time is same for all but utilization makes the difference. All do not have same speed and capacity to use time. Also the smart ones utilize others' time also.
