Meat has high and good quality protein content though one can supply adequate protein to the body through smart diet choices.

Having animal protein is good for health. In western countries, people take non veg on daily basis yet they live long.
But in ancient time many saints were vegetarian and lived long as many diseases come through animal food.

This has been debated time and again ...according to historical evidence man started out as a non vegetarian being living solely on hunting smaller animals and fish , it is only later that people began to develop a taste for vegetarianism.However, I feel that it is good to have a blend of both to make our diet more balanced , since there is no denying the fact that vegetables and fruits are absolutely essential for good health but we need to also have dairy products in our diet if not meat..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

This appears a wrong notion. I never feel it difficult to digest non veg diet. In fact, chicken and fish are easy to digest. Mutton could be a bit hard.

Extremely sorry guys. I am not pure vegetarian. I usually have Non vegetarian at weekends. That also once or twice a week. I think having non vegetarian once or twice a week wont be a big problem.

Could you please anyone suggest how many times a week non vegetarian food is recommendable?

In army, soldiers take non veg food thrice a week. They are healthy. Hence,thrice a week may be okay. You may also take non veg only once a week. If you take mix of meat and potato, you may take this even on more occasions.
