Army officer's wife's phone number on adult site
in Daily Dose
a senior army officer's wife received several indecent messages from various sources. Her phone number was on some adult web site.

It is revealed that this was mischief of a junior officer. an inquiry has been instituted. This indicates how far internet can be misused.

    Internet is useful in our lives but it sometimes can harm us.Yes it is very shameful that an officer did this crime.It has become very difficult to trust some one and share phone number with them.

    Like coin has two sides every things has its advantages and dis advantages.I have seen it many times people are cheated and even their MMS are made and put on U tube.What happened with the girl of DPS girl was the worst case where internet was misused. :evil:

    Once the person is identified, he will be severely punished. I don't understand how he got her mobile number. He may get the mobile number of her husband as he is senior officer. This is strange.

    Though Army personnel are very disciplined i don't know the junior officer did it but i feel he will be punished severely once he is caught.We never expect such things from people in defense services. :blink:

    Perhaps Senior army officer have scolded or insulted him in some way. To take revenge, he may have done this mischief. I think so

    We know the facts as alleged by the senior officer. who know that such mischief could be made by some one else to settle score with both- the senior officer and the officer complained against.

    any way, internet is not an unmixed blessing. Amitabh Bachan is also annoyed with social sites. He has threatened to quit sites like Twitter, Facebook

    There are innumerable images on porn sites. many of these are morphed and edited. There is similarly in faces and you cannot say with certainty whether the girl next door is really one of these. Unless an image is very clear and watched by concerned girl's neighbors, there would be no problem.

    If the army officer 's wife's photo were there on site without any phone number, the matter might not have been even noticed. We3 are helpless in many ways. Our photos, phone numbers are not secret. These have to be disclosed for various purposes. Nobody knows when and how these could be misused.

    There needs to be change in mindset. There should not be excessive reaction to such matters. In these days of internet and publicity, it is next to impossible toi avoid such possibilities.

    You would be surprised to note that my phone number is on the site of a big computer manufacturing company as customer support officer. I never was part of that company apart I made many complaints against that company in consumer forums. Now they have found this to counter me, I guess. I receive a call or two from customers every day to sort their problems out.
