I have noticed that some posts are irrelevant to the subject. The post must be according to the topic and no unnecessary post should be inserted. These have to be deleted by moderator.
Secondly, I also noticed a spam post on South Indian saris. This contained link to site advertising saris. Such posts are liabkle to be deleted and even more severe action taken by admin.
I request all to cooperate. If you find any spam, please report.
So, you have deleted both the threads. Thank you.
I tried to open that thread under daily dose catagory, but couldn't...because it was already deleted. I think, it was a new user who pulled that old thread up. Later she started it as a new thread too.
I copied her post and searched in google and found that those words were directly lifted from a public forum.
She is a new user. So, we shall guide her from repeating same mistakes again.

I think as a moderator you have the power to delete or take proper action against such posts, I also hope that you did so on that particular thread in question here.

For spamming there should be a strict action against the member otherwise this site won't get rid of the spammers. No doubt some time me too get out of track from the topic but it happens sometimes when we are in rythn but most of the time I try not to deviate from the topic I know its not good for the site.

Every breach of rules is not spam. The posts should be relevant to topic and should not be repetition of earlier posts. But these are not spams. Any one may do these inadvertently.. But I am more concerned with spam posts that carry link to other sites advertising commodities and services. One post contained link to a sari manufacturer site.
