Media has been not only boosting the team anna image out of all proportion but also providing the facility to the team to communicate publicly with their team for unlawful activities like attacking the ruling party MPs and MLAs.

This time media also highlighted some drawbacks in the team. This was not digested by some and so there was attack on media.

Now team anna has tendered apology to media realizing that it hardly pays to bite the hand that feeds.

    In fact, the entire anna team is without any cause and purpose. Mere law or addition of Lok pal cannot remove corruption. This will only increase number of IAS officers and staff and increase burden on tax payer. Moreover, law making is only parliamentary job and others cannot interfere. Corruption prevails because all- politicians, bureaucrats, businessmen, educational institutes etc benefit. The bribe givers also are bribe takers. Those gathering under banner of anna also are beneficiary of corruption. I saw in Agra that school managers who indulge in contract copying in Board exams and the druggists who sell fake medicines- all were marching with candles.

    Fasting is good. But this could be for some cause. This is good for health to some extent. But doctors have advised anna team not to go on such fast. This is injurious to health. Fast for blackmailing government to pass the law as commanded by team anna is definitely inappropriate. A few thousand individuals gathering at Jantar Mantar have no business to dictate to government constitutionally elected. Blackmail of fast unto death cannot undermine real mandate of people that is reflected in parliament.

    Blackmailers need no sympathy.

    I agree some of them may not have all what it needs but they have the guts to submit an apology, which is a rare thing in present scenario. Power brings so much arrogance that they forget normal etiquette.

    Media brings news to the general public. They do the toughest job. They bring news from such nook and corners where life risk is obvious. We should not beat them or attack them. They are doing their job.
    Here the fact is politically connected. It is heard many a times that journalists were insulted or beaten while they were reporting. Annaji's team would do this, is very strange and shocking.

    I agree some of them may not have all what it needs but they have the guts to submit an apology, which is a rare thing in present scenario. Power brings so much arrogance that they forget normal etiquette.


    Their apology is not genuine but is out of compulsion. Their entire movement exists because of media support. So they cannot afford to annoy their very life line.
