Just adding degrees is no guarantee of job. This confuses prospective employer about real use of the candidate. It is better to specialize in certain branch and get qualification in that only:

It is true that we should specialize in one field and then enhance our career there. But what to do if one doesn't get a job, with single degree. He has to dual to has to struggle a bit in that field.

All the degree courses are good. But only few of them guarantee job opportunities. Taking too much degree courses would only help us to add some words after our name. But good qualification give better job and living opportunities.

I too have two professional degrees in hand!!!

I feel, officials at top positions will be envious if he see any sub-ordinate having more degree than him. Sometimes, hiding extra degrees at the time of interviews can help him a lot for getting that job, my husband say so!!

If degrees are not related ones, like if you have a chartered accountant and law that is fine but having a CA and medical degree is of no use. There should be a proper combination.

I think this is the age of multi-tasking and knowledge in allied fields does help in job markets!

It is okay to get more specialization and higher degree in your selected career. It is also okay to get degree in allied subjects as may help you in your main career. Thus M.Tech. with MBA is okay. It is okay to acquire degree in cyber law after LL B. But it makes no sense to get degrees in unrelated subjects.
