The Maoists in Orissa are making very big demands for releasing the foreign nationals and government officials/ politicians.

In fact, Maoists consider themselves as genuine government and deal at par with the statutory government. If the 'statutory or constitutional government' can arrest Maoists, the 'genuine Peoples Government (Maoist)' can similarly 'arrest' the government supporters or officials/ politicians and may even pass 'death sentence'.

    The Maoists feign as real government authority. They act as executioner, judge and prosecutor- all in one without any constitutional authority and government is helpless.

    They are trying an MLA in Peoples Court. Usually, they award death sentence. Thousands of villagers are participating in Peoples' court.

    The central and state governments are yielding before anarchist forces of all varieties- Maoists, Gandhian (Anna brand).

    Government must act effectively and deliver good management besides strictly dealing with all types of anti constitutional and anarchic forces- Maoists are other ruffians styling as non violent and peaceful Gandhian.

    On the whole, the Maoists have an upper hand. The Governments of Orissa and now Jharkhand have to bend down to get MLA/ Collector released. It is learnt that MLA is being released on the condition that he will resign from his constituency. also, many Maoists are being released by Government.

    It appears that in many parts of Orissa, Jharkhand and some other states, Maoists are real government.
