According to Prakash karat, only Left democratic forces can fight corruption. But who are left and democratic. Many of potential allies of left (described as 'democratic') are also alleged with corruption. Lalu Yadan, Mulayam singh, Maya Vati are notable).

However fact remains that corruption raises cost of services and facilities and the poorest of poor suffer. So, whether this is left or democratic, these suffring people have to be mobilized to fight corruption. Corruption cannot be fought by Lop Pal Bill campaigners like Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi involved in various irregularities.

I have reached to the conclusion that we shall never get of corruption. This has become the way of our life, part of our system. Any one try to make it public is treated as if he is the one who is most corrupt and painted as villain. He is ganged-up by the innocent or like minded people.

Let us be clear. Who will really oppose corruption. The givers and takers both benefit and they will not oppose. Who is harmed by corruption? The most poor are harmed. The berths in railways, admission in schools, gas connections- all these are grabbed by rich who can pay extra or bribe. Corruption can be removed only by these most poor as they are victims. The people in Anna team are generally middle class who benefit from corruption. Their slogans on Bharat mata Ki Jai etc are ridiculous. This team consists of NGOs financed from abroad for creating anarchy in India. They only wish to get more share in fruit of corruption and reduce that by snatching from active politicians and bureaucrats. The fight between team anna and others is like that between street dogs fighting for loaves.

you are right gulshan ji.and as earlier also i said in a different thread that if you really have to remove corruption then you should have to start from level 1.

if you want to reach to top then the best way is to go step by step not by taking short cuts.and directly attacking to politicians is no where proving the use of brain because the corruption starts from a school peon to a college chairman, from a small hawker to a big shop dealer, now for a small work we give money to people.so that is whwt we have to remove.fighting with politicians is not a solution to this.

a.s.
The truth lies in the fact that there are honest people who have nothing to do with corruption and corrupt ways and they are just victims of circumstances!!

This is true. Corruption is a practice and is well organized in many places. No honest person can afford to remain honest there.

Here I am reminded of a person who was posted as in charge in accounts section of a Works Department. The contractors' commission would be distributed. The person was dead honest and he on the very first day declared that he would not allow any commission. All staff went to the senior administrative authority and complained that the newly posted supervisor was breaking all norms. The person was called to head office and advised that he must not disturb the age old tradition of commission from contractors. The supervisor was adamant. Then he was asked to allow others to share commission and he could donate his share to charity. He was still adamant. Ultimately, he was posted to some other office.

Millions of people who have nothing to do with corruption or never ever gained any thing out of it are the worst victim of corruption. The ones who are part of the system where corruption lies are spared from it because this is give and take for them.

Everyone who works indulges in corruption knowingly or unknowingly. But the poorest gain much less and lose much more. On the other hand, the riches gain much more and lose much less than their gain. On the balance, the poorest are losers.

Hence, it is for the poorest to rise to the occasion and fight against corruption in their own interests. The anti corruption leaders should actually mobilize these sections. The middle classes gather in big number in anti corruption rallies. But they are not likely to actively play any role in ending corruption.

Yes. Those who wish to fight against corruption should mobilize these sections more and guide them.
