In India both government hospitals and private hospitals are risky.So no need to go in depth of wards where they are admitted to.
Yes, no hospitals will give general ward for heart patients. As heart problems are very serious.

Well if there is no vacacy then only general ward is preferred but i think severe cases are generally not given general ward.
Yes corruption has spread everywhere. But, in most cases there is genuine shortage of special beds, so patients with heart ailment have no choice left.

Such patients are first admitted in ICU and later shifted to private/ general ward. The patients need silence and they may be disturbed in general ward. Besides, this depends also on financial capacity of the patients and their family.
