Yet, this bogey of 'Hinduism' is so much exaggerated by these other factions, that they keep keep bringing up Godhra which is quite a minuscule incident compared to centuries of tyranny under the Muslim and British rule combined and then later on., the Congress regime.

The Muslim rule was terrible. As brought out historians during Muslim rule more than 80 million Hindus were killed. This out of a population of 250 million. Muslims including Mughals were fond of making pyramids of skulls of hindus killed. It's so sad and now they have started talking of Hindu terror and all that bullshit

There is no evidence of the contents of the thread. Muslim rulers did not force sharia on Hindus and British did not force Christianity. Most of the conversions to Islam are Christianity are because of ill treatment to lower castes treating them as very inferior even less than animals. There are many contradiction in Hindu. This came to surface recently in the controversy of Durga Goddess V/s Mahisasur.  It will be better that vices like caste discrimination, dowry be first rectified. India is a secular nation and will never be either Islamic or Hindu. Nepal has removed the status of official religion so far given to Hindu. It is learnt that Bangladesh is also going to abolish the status of official religion presently accorded to Islam.

British did not force Christianity and Muslims did not force Hindus to convert? Which history fif you learn incidentally? How and why are you trying to deny what really happened? Aren't you aware the manner in which Hindus were tortured, killed and cut into pieces by Muslims when they denied conversion? British threw pieces of meats down water wells and resorted to numerous other tactics to force Christianity. How can you people deny true facts?  Let Bangladesh abolish whatever it wants to. Why don't you go and cry yourself hoarse in Kashmir your thoughts of patriotism, in an Indian state where domestic advertisements all feature Pakistani establishments and Hindus are scared of talking about them. Go there and take Vijay along with you! It is because of people like you who deny our rightful history, that others have to now actively advocate rights of Hinduism.

Studying about World History and Indian History makes us headache. Many people lost their life during the time of Muslim rulers. That is a fact. King Ashoka was a Hindu ruler. He also killed so many people of his dynasty. Whatever happen in the past, now India is a sovereign socialist secular democratic republic. Our constitution provides equal opportunities to all the people of India regardless of sex, colour, language, caste and religion. Enjoy this freedom and lead a very happy life.

There is narration of some atrocities by Aurangzeb. But there is not much about Muslim rulers. The British- especially after 1857 when British queen took over- there was rule of law. British govt. did nothing for converting people to Christianity. That is why most of us are not Christians. In the North East people were illiterate. In the process of education and social service by Christian missionaries, they became Christians. Before that, they were not Hindus but just had their own peculiar tribal deities. We can't accuse entire Muslim period rulers and British government for conversion. Most of the conversion are from Tribal who have really been civilized by Christian missionaries. The dalits have never been treated even as human by the Hindu upper classes. naturally, many changed to Christianity of Muslim. why accuse Muslims and Christians for that.
