I would like to know the process to subscribe so that i can get notifications as and when new contests or updates are instituted in the site. Can anyone tell me how to Subscribe to updates for these things.

There is subscribing feature when someone reply your answer in question answer section, when you get comment in article section and on some other places as well.
But there is no such option of subscription when site introduce something like contest and other updates.
