Spiritual activites are relief to human in some ways. This world is a tension world. Using spiritual activites, we can reduce our tension. we can live in different mode of life. If you go to temple, you will feel some change in mind. There are different issues in god concept. Some people accept god meanwhile some people don't accept god. But the truth is we can form god in our mind.
Same time, we can also form evil in our mind. If you get jealous, you form some type of evil. If you get unlimited lust, you form another type of evil. Spiritual activities is the only medicine for cure wound made by that evils. Now a days, we heard many saints fall in sexual activities. It is very bad. Because they have responsiblity to lead some innocent people.
yes! saints are not neccessary to get spiritual things. But it is traditional method of teaching spiritual things by saint. Now a days many duplicate saints are there. We should aware of duplicate saints. First of all, Saints must have a quality of simplicity. If you see any saint who wearing jewels, using car, he is not a true saint.
Worshipping god and telling mantras not only enough for prayer. we should concentrate in god's nature. what is god's nature? peace and completeness is the nature of god. Using mantras, we get concentration on god's qualities. we also get some bid of qualities while at praying time. Yes! not blood and flesh, god is in symbolic form of good things.
Some people using figures for worshipping god such as pictures, idols, statues. But figures are only temporary pillars for innocent people. God is our mind. We make our mind be a god by protect from evil things and insulate good things and hope.
Laziness is the slow poison for human. Because if you postpone any work, it creates many side effects. If you become ill, you have to chance to postpone the work. It is not bad. But some people, postpone the work cause of laziness. They set alarm for wake up. The important thing is, they switch off the alarm and continue their sleep. In that situation they give importance to sleep.
Yes! sleep is essential for health. you have to set proper time limit for sleeping. Medicine world told that 8 hours is enough for good sleep. Why some people make undiscipline sleeping habits? There are many reasons. Cause of hardworking, they get pain in their body. So they continue sleep in abnormal manner. But it affects next day's work. We should aware of one day's work will not affect another day's good work. Sleeping not only taking rest. It is the medium for getting power for next day's meaningful work.
Some people using alchocol before they get sleep. It is very bad habit. Because they affect by alchocol and get laziness in next day action. some people are there. They have no serious in any matter. They keep jolly mood and doing things with carelessness. But it affects their future life.
How to avoid laziness? Using good hobbies is the best remedy for avoid laziness. Because we love our hobbies than our regular work. So, prior to work, we follow some hobbies such as singing, dancing, reading good stories, gardening, etc.
Some occassions, it also make good talent. In future that hobbies may become our main work.
Rivers, lakes, sea and oceans are highways for trade and communication. People from ancient times have been sailing on seas to exchange goods. But for a long time Australia had been out of reach to the rest of the world. This may explain why in Australia we find people, animals and plants are that not found in any other part of the world.
The last of the continents to be discovered was Australia. It is an island continent.
Look at the globe, you will see that Australia lies under the curve of the earth where the mass of Asia breaks up into bits of lands or groups of islands surrounded by water.
The content of Australia is separated by oceans. Australia is both n the eastern hemisphere and in the southern Hemisphere. Australia is a big, open, uncrowned land. It has some fine modern cites and most of them are sea-ports like Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. But beyond the mountains on the seacoast lie the wide open spaces of the continent.
There are fields and orchards on the green plains. Beyond the plains is the wild `bush’ country with scattered sheep stations. In the bush country, live people called `Bushmen’ who are different from those found in any other country. These native men are called aborigines.
These aborigines have no farms, little of what we call learning and art. But they know the ways of all he animals and can follow any track through their native bush land. They hunt animals with a piece of wood called a boomerang.
The north of Australia is thickly forested. But the entire of the continent is a great desert. This is the least known part of the continent.
It is very hot, dry and hard to travel here. There are many places in this desert where no man has ever visited to this day.
Australia is an island. It is cut off from all other continents by oceans. When you first white people landed, in Australia, they saw many kinds of plants and animals that they had never seen before. There are ever so many kinds of plants in Australia that do not grow anywhere else in the world.
But the animals of Australia are even stranger than the plants. Most of the animals are either mammals or birds. There are a few that may really puzzle you. The fruit bat is a mammal even through it can fly. The duck bill or the platypus is a mammal too-even though it has a bill that looks like the bill of a duck. This strange animal lays eggs. Suckles the young like a mammal and swings like a duck.
The kangaroo is a mammal too. It has a pouch to keep its young ones as it leaps on the grasslands. Mother kangaroo is big but baby Joey is tiny and small.
The koala is also a mammal. It also carries its young ones in a pouch on its back. It sucks the juice of the gum trees and is happy and gay.
Most of the animals are marsupials. They are mammals but the young ones are tiny and a small and are carried in a pouch by the mother.
The plants and animals of Australia are different from those in other parts of world because long. Long ago, the Australian block of land drifted far away from the other main blocks of land and the oceans around Australia acted as walls. For millions of years these are `Water’ walls kept most of the plants and animals of that continent from going anywhere else. They also kept most of the plants and animals of other lands from coming to Australia. Only in the 15th century did man dare to go and explore the land Even today, most of the towns and cities are near the coast because these oceans have become highways now. The interior of Australia is a vast desert and very few people few people live there.
A study tour is an essential part of a student’s academic career. It provides him first hand experience with men and matters. When a tour is conducted from school or college, the students get chance to freely mingle with other students. They feel free with the teachers who accompany them. This helps in developing a close relationship among students themselves and between students and teachers.
A study tour helps the students observe the special features of the world in which they live. They can watch and enjoy sights of nature-rivers, mountain valley, seas and the Flora and fauna of a place. If the tour is conducted to some factory or historical museum, it spares them direct knowledge or information.
Book knowledge seldom motivates a student. A student’s mind is dynamic and he longs for knowledge that is rather live than kept buried in the text book. An occasion ofa study tour gives him his chance.
He explores and finds out new things. He studies how to face situations. He comes face to face with living realities. He enjoys being part of a group moving towards a common end. He develops social sense and he learns to accommodate the tastes and limitations of others. The journey itself moulds them.
The so called study tour rarely proves a failure. If it is poorly organized, then no doubt it is destined to fail. Too much discipline imposed on the touring children will also affect the sprit of the journey adversely. The place chosen for the tour should be an ideal one. It should not be a far lying place or one which calls for very long journey. Apart from learning, students should enjoy the time they spend together with their friends and teachers. Thus a study tour is very important in the life of a school/college student.
BEWARE OF AUTOWALAS
“Auto Rickshaws” are the widely used means for transportation in most of the major cities and towns in India. The word “Rickshaw” is derived initially from the two wheeled pulling carts which are manually pulled by the operator in the early 19th century. These rickshaws then turned into 3 wheelers which were operated as tricycles. Auto rickshaws can be found in many of the Asian developing countries and are quickly replacing the traditional manually operated rickshaws. The word “Auto” in “Auto Rickshaw” can be thought to be derived from the automation of the three wheeled cart which is run on a motor instead of manually pulling or cycling the cart. They are popularly called “Autos” in India. Auto Rickshaws are small three-wheeled motor run carts operated by a single individual with a passenger capacity cabin of three who are required to sit behind the operator or driver. There are enhanced versions of Auto Rickshaws which have increased capacity with more wheels (4-6 wheels) which support more passengers to travel on them.
The auto drivers are sometimes called as “Auto-walas”
Some of the Advantages of using Auto Rickshaws are discussed below.
- Autos are one of the cheapest means of transport in towns and cities since these vehicles give a very good mileage on use.
- Autos are designed with very well in dimensions to suit Indian roads. They are small and yet good to support a comfortable journey for three passengers apart from the driver. Autos also have space for some baggage to be placed behind where the passengers sit.
- Autos are best fit vehicles to use for both transportation of passengers or goods in very ancient areas of the many cities in India. Many of the Indian cities which are very old ranging from 100 to 2000 years would obviously not support broad road infrastructure like the newer areas that are being developed in the cities these days.
There are basically two ways to hire an auto for transportation. The first way is to hire the auto completely from intended source to destination of travel at a fixed price or on metered price. Metered prices could vary from city to city based on the cost of living of the city.
The second way is to hire autos that run on shared basis where in the source to destination is a fixed price and the auto driver can invite passengers into the auto till it reaches its capacity limits. Shared auto concept is cost effective for passengers who don’t have to hire an entire auto for transportation.
Like in most of the cases, there is a darker side to the usage of Auto Rickshaws. It is not very unusual to find tampered meters on Auto Rickshaws. The meter rates are fixed in most of the cities and governments have been working on trying to reduce the ability of autowalas to tamper the meters to cheat common man. Non electronic meters are easier to tamper with when compared with electronic meters. Unfortunately both the versions can be tampered. The meter readings in most of the autos have the following parameters. “Distance” that has been traveled in Kilometers and the corresponding “Charges” in Rupees for the distance traveled. These two parameters can be tampered to show wrong data.
The autowalas who operate on these good looking three wheelers are the cause of concern. They are not afraid to cheat the public by using tampered meters and opting for wrong directions to earn a larger sum of money when passengers are using metered service.
By my experience I found autowalas in Hyderabad to be very notorious. I want to share one instance which happened a couple of weeks back and is fresh in my mind. I am a resident of Hyderabad for over five years and I am well aware of the appropriate distances between places. I happened to go to my home town with my family (my husband and kid), to spend some time with my parents. After returning back, we reached railway station around 5:30 AM. Knowing very well about autowalas we preferred to take the auto from the auto stand which is supervised by a traffic police. Before boarding into the auto itself I made it a point to ask the police if the meter rate was normal since between 10PM and 5AM autowalas charge 50% extra on the meter. What was ridiculous was the autowala told me it is 1.5 times the meter rate in front of the police and after I spoke rules he agreed to come at a normal meter rate and asked for Rs 20 extra over the meter to which I agreed. Since I stay over 15 KMs from the station I seemed to be a good customer early in the morning for the autowala (more the distance, more the money).
The approximate distance from railway station to our house is 17Kms from the 10th platform of Secunderabad Railway Station where we boarded the auto. This auto had a electronic meter and for residents in Hyderabad it should be known that the meter charge averages to close to Rs 7 per kilometer.
Right from the time we boarded the auto, the meter distance was showing up in excess. The meter on this particular auto was showing approximately double the traveled distance right from the beginning. On observing this, we immediately informed the autowala saying there is something wrong. The autowala was trying to defend the meter saying it was right but once he noticed that we are not new to the city, he realized that he was caught. I just mentioned to him to stop by, at any police station if he disagreed with me and he kept numb for rest of the travel. I just mentioned to him that I would pay him for 17kms and also the extra Rs 20 that we decided before boarding the auto. He dint respond to what I told him and kept quite. We reached our destination and as expected the distance showed by as 32 kilometers which was exactly double the original distance. He became very violent in the manner he spoke when I gave him Rs 140 (Rs 7* 17 +Rs20 = 139). He agreed that the meter was tampered but started to talk about all the apartments in my area saying all people living the area too have cheated someone else to buy an apartment. I dint want to proceed on the conversation and just asked him to come to near by police station if he wanted to further talk with me.
So friends, I thought I should make you aware of how to deal with autowalas in cities. You have to “Beware of Autowalas” whether or not you are new to the city. The following are few suggestions to avoid being a victim of using auto rickshaws.
- It is very important for commuters to know either the distance of travel to ensure they are not cheated on meter rates. One can verify the distance in kilometers to check if it matches the given distance. It is even better to know the rate charged per kilometer on auto rickshaws in the given city. These rates would vary from city to city. If you are aware of the approximate distance in kilometer and meter charged per kilometer, you have arrived at the meter rate of the auto by multiplying the two.
- Don’t be afraid to ask all the details of charges before boarding onto an auto even if you are boarding an auto at the police booth in railway stations or bus stands.
- Be assertive during travel to ensure the autowala is taking you through the right directions you know (if you are not new to the city). If you are new to the city, ensure you have done some research on the city you are visiting and don’t expose your newness to the autowala when in conversation with him.
I may be getting too harsh on the entire autowala community but that happens in a society like ours when most of them belong to the wrong category. I would like to end by conveying my best regards to all those autowalas who do not tamper meters and cheat their customers. Let us all ensure we don’t cheat anyone and we don’t get cheated by anyone to see a brighter India in the future.
