Now a day’s most of the children lookmore aged, they are not looking according to their age. Suppose a boy of age 8 is looking age of 12. So in schools as the child is so fat teacher will make that child to sit on the last bench. While playing games also such children will be slow as they are fat. More over they cannot concentrate on their studies too. Due to all these reasons the remaining children in the class will tease such child. These problems may be faced by many children in towns and cities.
Suggestion for Mother:
The occurrence of obesity is mostly due to lack knowledge in mothers about food. When diabetes affects a pregnant woman then she should take a lot of care since it will be a cause for over weight in the child. With age the weight of the child also increases. Another reason for over weight of the child is, not feeding the child with mother milk. If we feed newly born child with the packaged milk then this will be the cause for putting the weight of the child. Most of the mother with lot of love they will feed their children without any limit. Most of the children grow fast between the ages of 1 to 5 years. At that age, how much we feed the children, their body will grow that much. More over most of the children to have food which is fat content which leads to obesity.
Fat, salt and junk food:
When the grow little, they will get attracted to junk food. The junk food like cream biscuits which contain fat, The chips which contain more salt, chocolates which contain more fat and sugar, The artificial fruit juices, pizza, burger. Avoiding junk food completely may difficult but we can control having with few precautions or substitutes of them. At such situation, we should compare our self with this modern world and try to know how much fat is accumulated in children. Children going to restaurants and they have junk food over there and then they keep on playing video games, watching tv and they won’t move anywhere so due to this the calories in them won’t be reduced. If they be active and play they will get good strength, if they won’t be active and won’t do anything physically like playing or exercising then it leads to obesity. How many biscuits and chips we eat but our stomach won’t get fill and we won’t hunger satisfaction so children keeps on eating them. This should be observed by parents and they should feed children with tasty nutritious food. If parents neglect their children then the children will get body which looks more than their exact age and this leads to many health problems.
Precautions and tips to reduce calories:
Count of calories:
Most of the mother feed their children as usual same content of food though the children had junk food while coming home at evening. The junk food like chocolates, pizza, burger contains more calories so mother should know what their children ate at evening and they should feed them at less enough food.
Engaging:
By involving and getting engaged in watching TV, cartoon shows and playing video games most of the children have more junk food. So we have to count how much calories they get , how much calorie they need and that much we have to give them.
Importance for games:
Studies, Television and video games does not move the children, they does not give any physical exercise to children so these 3 actives became curd for children. They play chess and caroms and most of the people like to watch cricket. But there is no use at all. We should encourage our children to have a walk early morning, play games in schools and have relaxation by games at evening. Due to this schedule the fat in children’s body won’t get accumulated. We should not think that having home food without limit especially food like badam, idly. The food items like soups which are prepared by creams, fries, food items made of butter, pastry should be consume less.
Junk food category:
In the category of junk food of children we should give much importance for nutrients. We need to include fruits and boiled seeds in this category. When we give bread for our children to eat we should add tomato or kheera in it. Children love to eat puffed rice. Having chekkis made of jaggery is better for children health.
Iron and Zinc:
Children need nutrient like, Iron, magnesium and zinc while growing. So these should be given through the food. For proteins children should eat one egg every day. If the children are vegetarian then they can also feed proteins by having milk, curd, paneer and cheese. We should confirm whether our children have growth according to their age.

- If your child is with more weight or less weight when born then you should neglect, you need to consult doctor immediately. Because children who have obesity problem, they will soon get heart problem also. There is a chance of getting diabetes and Blood pressure at their early ages.
- In girls, after they become of age ten, the hormone changes starts. Due to these hormones release, the fat will show its effect in their body. If they contain more fat then the hormones cannot be controlled. Then there will be effect in periods. The period won’t occur systematically, they may come early or late. There won’t be regular periods. This leads to PCOD problem. This is due to the accumulation of fat in the uterus. Due to this , there may be problem in reproduction system.
