In India the rate of death every year is on the rise because of the heart related diseases. According to the latest survey sheets a minimum of 40% to 50% of the deaths are because of the heart related diseases. Speculations are also made that within the next decade it will be on the rise and will claim more lives. The heart related diseases are found among the people of every age and even if now we don't take the required initiative to keep our heart healthy then it will be too late for us. Countries like U.S.A and India are on the top of the chart where death relating to heart are on the rise according to the survey reports. There are certain factors which are related with the to the heart disease. Let us discuss over here one by one and try to find out what we can do to overcome them.
* Physical Inactivity
Physical inactivity is a major rise factor for artery diseases and it leads to the deposition of fatty substances and cholesterol in the arteries that supplies blood to the heart. Regular physical activities like exercises and yoga are the keys and help us to lead a healthy life and reduce the risk of heart attack. So it is a high time for us and the youngsters to keep ourselves rejuvenated with exercise, yoga and aerobics or by walking, cycling, jogging etc.
* Cholesterol
It is a fatty substance present in our body and helps in building hormones, digestion and other important body building substances but the dark side of it is that when in excess amount it could cause damage to the heart. It is one of the main cause of heart attacks and premature death globally throughout the world. We should try to take as much as fruits and vegetables in our diet to get rid of the acids from our body. We should do exercise regularly to be fit and healthy.
* Obesity
Obesity is such a state of our body when our body seems to have too much fat. It is very often termed as a silent killer in India due to the fact that it has claimed so much lives in the recent past. Even our kids are effected with it and believe me it is the route cause of diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and heart attack. We should avoid food items like butter, cheese, ghee, ice-cream, chocolates, junk foods etc. Rather make it a habit to take a balanced diet.
* Diabetes
It is such a disease when our body cannot regulate the amount of sugar and glucose in the body. It is also one of the main causes of the premature heart diseases. If one have a family background of diabetes then regular checkup from the early stage of life is required to control it. If we be able to keep diabetes under control then certainly we avoid the risk of premature heart attack and risk of kidney failure.
* High Blood Pressure
High blood pressure or hypertension is such a condition which can lead to coronary heart disease. It is also known as silent killer. Normal blood pressure of humans is something like 120 to 139 : 80 to 89. If it is more than this we call it Prehypertension. The best possible way to check it by avoiding salt in our daily diet and take some weight loss measures. But in case of very high blood pressure it is always advisable to consult your doctor and take medicine in a regular manner.
* Smoking
It is one of the main cause of the heart related diseases. When we smoke we get infected with carbon monoxide and there are other harmful and poisonous gases which enters our body. Once should quit smoking at once to lead a healthy and risk free life. A strong will power and determination is required to quit the habit and if one can do this then nearly 60% of the heart related diseases is reduced within a person.
* Drinking Alcohol
It is as dangerous a thing as smoking and it not only effects our heart but other vital organs of our body. Our liver are heavily damaged due to this habit.
