Breakfast:
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. All of you would have heard people this sentence again and again in your life. It might be your mom or grandma or some elder people of the family. But how many of you have realized the truth and concept behind it. How many of you have tried to improve your breakfast habits and procedures? There are so many people whose list includes small school children, college going students and also office workers who skip their breakfast every day.
Skipping breakfast:
They might have some reason behind skipping their breakfast. But most times the reason will be that they skip it because they are late. They are not having enough time to have their breakfast. They might be rushing out to their destination. But most of them do not understand that they are doing a great blunder for their health and that will be soon reflected in their lifestyle changes.
Without reason:
There are few people who skip breakfast even without a reason. They will have ample of time for their activities still they will skip their breakfast. They will forget the practice of having breakfast. They will leave their home without even having breakfast. Those kinds of people are totally lethargic and irresponsible. Then they had to pay for their health.
Importance of breakfast:
Do you all know why do we call the morning meal as breakfast? After the long sleep of night where we do not consume any food or water, most people might not feel the hunger in the morning. But we must break the fast that we had maintained throughout the night. That is why it is called so. Thus, it compulsory to have breakfast every day.
According to Chinese treatment procedures, everyone must have their breakfast like a king. They must have all their healthy foods and favorite foods during their breakfast. Having breakfast every day is an important thing but again having a healthy breakfast is more important. There are also people who have junk foods for their breakfast. This is not a healthy habit. The morning diet must be healthier than any other meal of the day. It must have the maximum nutrients in it.
Most healthy breakfast habits:
- Breakfast must be full of proteins. Any food rich in proteins is the best breakfast. In south India the most staple breakfast foods are indlis, dosas. They are made from rice batter. They will be rich in proteins. In north India the staple breakfast foods are chapathis. Their protein content in balanced by the dal as a side dish. They consume lots of dal.
- Apart from proteins the most important nutrients are vitamins. To get the source of vitamins we can have natural fruits like oranges, apples. They can be had as a fruit or else as juice. Both are good forms of consumption.
- Eggs are good foods that are also rich source of proteins. They can also be had on every alternative day. They also provide calcium.
- Milk is also an important food which must be had every day. Most people do not get time to have milk when they leave their home. Thus, breakfast is the best time where they can have milk. So always have milk.
Make it a regular habit:
Having a healthy breakfast everyday will improve the overall health of the persons. It will also improve the performance of the person in their field. Thus they can improve their lifestyle.
People who do not have it a regular practice can make it a regular practice very easily. Just try to wake up a bit early everyday so that you have time to complete all your work and also can have breakfast in a regular manner. When it becomes a regular core then you will find that your overall health is improving and also that you are getting a better performance oriented results.
