I would like to share with you all two recipes which I have liked from chilhood. They are sweets and they will surely liked by children. They are very easy to prepare and can be made in a very less time. I would like to tell about the method to prepare the carrot halwa. the procedure is same for beetroot also.
The things needed are : carrot , ghee, sugar, water , cashews. Take some enought amount of carrot say half kg. Wash it in a proper manner and grind it in mixie. Place a vessel on the ignited stove. Pour some ghee and leave it to get hot. Then add some cashew nuts in it. Leave it to get brown. You can also add dry grapes , walnuts. It will increase the overall taste. Then add the carrot pulp. just stir it for some time. After some time you will find a delicious smell. Then add some water to it and stir it. When it starts to boil add sugar. The amount of sugar depends on the taste of the person. As a genera tip it will be good to add less amount of sugar. Then stir it to get a semi solid paste. Add some more ghee if needed.
Not the carrot halwa is ready to get served. Transfer it to a pan and server it hot. It can also be served coold. Children will love the taste of both the kinds. The procedure is same for beetroot halwa also. use beetroot instead of carrot. It also has the same procedure. Enjoy the halwa and have a healthy life.
