Language teacher: the natural beauty of India is portrayed in Vande Mataram, where the poet describes the cool breeze from the mountains, and the greenery of the crops and the beauty of the flowers. There are many beautiful poems in Marathi, Hindi and English. You can collect poems that show love for the country as and when you read them. Our first prime Minster, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru has given a complete idea of Indian civilization and culture in his book, `The Discovery of India.
History teacher: Our civilization is one of the most ancient civilizations and Sanskrit literature is a rich treasure house, wherein we find the precious gems of all the science and the arts.
Science teacher: some of the concepts which are most modern have had their origin in Sanskrit literature. Scientists and Mathematicians are conducting research studies to find out these out these theories and how they can be relevant in the present day.
Pupils: teacher, our country is really great! We have a rich variety in all our literatures. Many scholars from other countries come to India to explore and learn from Indian literature, arts and science.
History teacher: a Chinese scholar came all the way from china in ancient times, when there were hardly any traveling facilities. He came to learn about Buddhism. Many tourists from foreign countries visit Kashmir, Jaipur, Goa, Kerala and many other places throughout India.
Music teacher: many of our artists like Pandit Ravi Shankar, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi and dancers like Sonal Mansingh have spread our arts in Western countries.
Art teacher: Indian culture and art have been blended with the art and culture of other civilizations like the Persian culture etc. in monuments like the Taj Mahal, Ajanta and Ellora and in the beautiful temples all over India.
Ahmad: teacher, when we went for Bhart Darshan, my parents showed me many places. It was a real pleasure to get to know about our monuments.
History teacher: our great leader loved our country and was prepared to sacrifice their job, their family life everything including their lives for the country. You will know more of their sacrifices when you learn about the freedom Movement.
Science teacher: our country has made remarkable progress in science and technology, telecommunications, medicine, nuclear science and computer technology.
Physical education: many of our sportsmen and women have shown outstanding abilities in the field of sports. Some of our rural sports, such as Kabbadi have also found place in world sports.
Pupils: there is indeed a lot to be proud of in our country.
Social service teacher: we all have to work hard for our motherland. We should do whatever we can to improve the condition of our people. Many of our people do not know to read and write. We have too made them literate. We have to protect our environment. We can show our love for our country by doing our duty towards our country, by working hard for its development and progress.
Pupils: we will all work together for our country, our beloved India.
