The man in blue was in great form when they won 2007 T20 world cup. All praise goes to brilliant leadership quality of M S Dhoni and his young team. After that Team India has won several ODI and Test series in foreign as well as in domestic grounds. At that time Indian team was the King of T20.

But in 2009 T20 world cup the situation was totally different. The players had hardly any rest period after IPL. They were tired and mentally weaker to give hundred percent performance. Even some key players like Zaheer khan and Shewag were injured during IPL. Players were continuously playing for last six to seven month. So, BCCI should not have organized the club cricket just before the commencement of the world cup. The greedy attitude of BCCI was the prime reason behind Team India’s debacle.

Pakistan won this time because they came with a fresh mind and a hunger to win. Not participating in IPL was a great blessing for them and they have shown their full strength.

Now BCCI should realize the fact and schedule cricket match accordingly. Because National pride comes first then making Money .On the positive side, we can hope Team India will again win T20 title in 2010 !!
