TalaKona is a special place near Tirupathi in Chittor District. It is very famous for its Waterfalls. It is one of the main tourist attractions in Andhra Pradesh. Talakona is mainly reffered to as "Talakona Waterfalls".  It is located 49 Kilometres from Tirupathi and 220 Kilometres from Chennai.

Talakona is a forest in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh. An enchanting picnic spot, Talakona is considered to be the threshold to the seven hills of Tirumala. The people here are very simple village people from the forests of Talakona. The life style of people here is very simple as of the South Indian Culture.
