Wedding after twenty two years of live in relation

We have a bizarre news. Two couples in Rai Bareily district of Uttar Pradesh were living together in live in relationship. Theri children have also grown up. A question was raised how could an unmarried father perform the ritual of Kanya Daan.

Shri Budh Raj of Shadi village and shri Hori Lal Yadav of Najan village were living with their own caste mates since last twenty two years. They have performed their wedding ceremony under social pressure in order to facilitate their children marriage. Thus the institution of marriage retains its significance
