Here in this place, new sessions in school is starting from April and summer vacation fall in middle of May and June. Giving holiday home works for kids are very particular and most of the holidays will be spend to do this works. :evil:
Do you think the holiday home works are really necessary?
I know their intention is to keep kids busy with their studies too… But surely my vacation is going to ruin by my two sons holiday home works. Surely I need much time to prepare it by collecting information from net and all…. Wish me good luck… :ohmy:

Actually this is just to keep children in practice and not get totally out of touch. Perhaps they allot too much of it. because children are entitled to have some fun after having done so much of hard work in last session.

I think some kind of homework is fine. But to much of studies in holiday really ruins the holiday for both parents and kids.
School and teachers must take this under consideration before giving any kind of homework.
I think a little bit of study is required during the holidays to keep the children in practice to study and this can be done through holiday homework. But the schools should try to increase the creativity and curiosity in children by encouraging them to visit certain places, play some educational games, create some interesting things through waste items etc.
Now a days there are professional summer camps for training children in certain skills. This is more or less like holiday home work. Many of the summer camp organizers are least professional and only wish to earn money by exploiting guardians' ambitions.

No giving holiday home work is not at all necessary and i disagree with it.Kids must enjoy their vacations.I remember when we were in school we also were given home work and we used to curse our teachers for giving it. :laugh:
