According to me, all the MPs are physically present and mentally absent. They cannot forget their college days it seems.
Most members of parliament do not give heed to their job in parliament. They indulge in other activities that may give them more money or increase their votes. Many times, even quorum is not available and parliament has to be adjourned. Parties have to issue whip to ensure presence of members on crucial occasions. Even if a ember is present according to record, he may not be present all day. Moreover, may be mentally absent. We have seen snaps of some important M.P. sleeping during important debates.

I agree with Gulshan. In most of the parliment meeting i have seen some members closing there eyes..whether they concentrate too much or meditate depends on individual but it shows that though they are present their presence is equal to absence... :)
They have no basic Knowledge about politics and how we have to participate in parliament.

They dont know about How we can share things and very less awareness of their duties. Then what they can do. only sleeping

Half teh time is spent sleeping while serious discussions are on, the moment a shouting match starts, they all wake up ready to enter the ruckus and create a riot by throwing chairs around and shouting at the top of their voices. This accomplished; they consider it a day well spent!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

MPs working hard???? Oh,no! These favored children of fortune are out there to makes our lives harder!!
MP's have a real hard time in sitting in the same place for quite some time in the House. They have to be very strong too sometimes to fight with other members..
Sleeping itself is a great job. Do every body has the potential to sleep during debate or speech? We should proud on our "Hard Working" politicians.

Most of the M.P.s belong to political parties. They have to participate in parliament according to party policy. The major political parties viz. Congress and BJP select some members to speak. Others can do nothing. The political parties should encourage and allow all members to participate in debate. They should not just allow selected few all the time to participate. The left parties earmark almost every party MP to contribute unlike Congress and BJP.
