Maradona the legendary Argentine soccer star and Brazilian 'black pearl' Pele have an interesting love and hate relationship between them. They are once again in the news with their latest spat. While Pele questioned the wisdom of the decision of having him as Argentine coach citing his not-so clean private life.Maradona dismissed his comments citing his advancing age!!

it is always maradona who is better than pele as pele was just a profilic goal scorer just like ronaldo today but maradona was a total footballer he could do just anything with the ball.
Such debate would always be there and let us admit that to football lovers these are two are soccer gods!
Yes i agree with you, there should be no comparision between them. both of them are unique.
We had the good fortune of watching Maradona live on TV.He was captivating! Pele played with a few brilliant players of his time like Jagalo,Garrincha,Vava,Zito and others but Maradona didn't have that kind of help.

Wow! Their records speak for themselves very eloquently!
Pele was good at his time and maradona was good at his time. in pelez era it was one man show game. AND in maradonaz era team work was the main base.
It's the main reason that I don't want any comparison. They were players of different eras.To me both of them are great masters!
