Only 15% of the mumbai local trains are running today as the motormen driving trains are continuing the strike for the second day demaning better pay facilities.The strike started yesterday evening.Maharashtra chief minister Ashok Chavan has called a emergency meeting with the officials to discuss the situation.
Whenever strike happens, only the public is getting affected much than anybody !!!

Yes Meean, situattion is very bad in Mumbai, in fact my husband was supposed to be in Mumbai today but he had to come back from the railway station!! Yesterday night several thousands of commuters had to spend the night at CST terminus!!

Every strike affects people. That is why strikes are successful in achieving objectives. all concerned should ponder that ultimately they work for people. so, they should devise other means and not resort to strikes that affect people and result in national loss.
