Aung San Suu Kyi-led National League for Democracy won the last elections in 1990.But it was never allowed to take power. Now after 50 years "this" is going to happen in Myanmar(Burma).

She was kept under the house arrest of the military force for quite some time and she was the one fought and she got freedom and hope the power is restored so that they can also become one of the developed country.
Apparently, the 'civilian' president will be stooge of the military that still remains in actual command. The state in Burma is similar to that in Pakistan, where the 'civilian' leaders are subservient to army, the real ruler. The appointment of 'civilian' president is only to hoodwink the international community.
The speculations are going on.We have to wait and watch who is going to take the power.
It is clear that this president will be only a doll in the hands of army just to put dust in the eyes of public.
