I am glad that BJP will be able to continue the developmental works that they have started. The fact that they won more number of seats than last time simply proves that people always have faith on those who work for the development of a nation.

There was so much of negative propaganda by opposition and that all backfired.  Even a tall promise of Nyay could not turn the table.  Indian poor voters have seen benefits delivered to their home in last five years and did not fall trap of freebies and false promises.  They have got more vote from rural population this time.

These people have put their trust on Modi and he should deliver on his promises more this time.  Some of his schemes need to be implemented really well like Smart Cities and Make in India.  They are good ideas but need serious ground work.

I think works regarding farmers welfare, good rate for their harvest, less rates for their raw materials & unemployment problems should be solved on first priority, because those are the things that will give a real boost to the economy and the farmers who are the lifeline of our Country.

Other initiatives should be continued but above points should be focused and more work in that regard is to be done. Then there will be no questions on the government if people are happy.

I am happy with the kind of verdict we got but we shall have to see that elected members will act ethically and avoid talking which comes under "hate speeches". I would like to see Modi restricting such people from talking meaningless that only proves harmful for the cause of the party itself.

True, that was the only thing which went wrong under the first term of BJP govt apart from farmers welfare and unemployment.

Government should move ahead with grace and responsible filled attitude.

India needs a lot of genuine work to be done in Primary education and health care.  And it's not about having schools but also having infrastructure and trained teachers.  These two things are crucial for a good development of any country.  Building IITs and IIMs are not so significant for development of education.  I personally feel that a quality primary education should reach maximum children.  That will lay foundation for a well informed educated society.

I believe quality teachers are present all over India. However, the problem is the method of teaching right from the grass root level. It's still nowhere near the European model where too much theoretical content is never dumped upon children. The government should address this at all levels and restructure the education system in order to create a truly educated and responsible society.

True, theoretical education has proved to be a deterrent for practical life success and money earning.

Everything is so rigid currently in education system along with rising fees of education

There is a lot to be done in almost all areas in our country and I sincerely hope that the central govt led by Mr Modi concentrates on issues that concern people at every level. The recent fire tragedy at Soorat shows how poorly equipped the fire department is in a state ruled by Mr Modi and BJP for two decades. There were no ladders tall enough to reach the 3rd floor nor any safety net and those children died because there was no help ..it makes you disappointed to think that while crores of rupees we're spent on a statue , couldn't they give the same attention to other far more important issues ? Anyway, let's hope the govt takes note at least now ..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

I was really shocked after seeing the video where a small child jumped to death and many others. One person saved 2 lives but let slip one lady.

Safety net is the primary thing to be there to save lives. Very tragic. I thought that people could bring their lengthy blankets to catch them to do their best. But all we could see were onlookers just witnessing the incident.

When a situation can be improved by the general public from within their capacity it should have been done.

I saw a smoke bellowing from a building near my office. There were fire tenders there and no persons were coming out, may be no one was there inside at that time.

However I doubt even if I would have done anything, but now there is a thought in mind which I think I can go ahead with some people around when any such things happen to do my best.

The government failed there. Hope they rectify their mistake.

I am hopeful after listening Modi's address to his MPs. He made it clear that he wants no hate speeches, VIP culture etc. He wants service with a smile from all and sundry including Ministers, MPs, Bureaucrats and lower level government employs. There will be no place for corruption and no middlemen at any level. He has also invited Muslims to be part of the mainstream. I have heard good things for the first time coming from Muslim clerics.

I reads speech of Modi in newspaper. If 50% people follow instruction of Modi than this government will prove a finest government.

Corruption and working culture is responsible for it. It is an old disease. India is a big country, so solution of all these type of problem is not possible in few months or years. It will take much time to change thinking of peoples. For it first we peoples must be gets aware to ourselves.
