The issue is that some British company document shows Rahul Gandhi as British citizen.  Ethics Committee of parliament has issued a notice. Let us hope that the issue will be resolved shortly. It is for Rahul Gandhi to give appropriate reply which will be duly considered and an appropriate action taken. Till then we have to wait. 

But some have already decided.

As per the Italian Citizenship Laws,  a child born to an Italian parent is an Italian citizen, provided he/she was born before the naturalisation of his parent.
Sonia Gandhi married Rajiv Gandhi in 1968, and Rahul Gandhi was born in 1970. As per the Indian laws, Sonia Gandhi, even by virtue of marriage to an Indian citizen, couldn't have applied for Indian Citizenship  before being a resident in India for atleast 7 years. What you have stated is crystal clear. As a lawyer I can also add that when a man wilfully declares himself a foreign national like Rahul did when in a form he filled his citizenship as British is also to be taken as proof. There is a good case to debar Rahul from contesting all elections.

That is exactly the issue, if he can himself say he is a British citizen in UK, he cannot get away from that...However, it is also a known fact that the whites take care of their own, so facts may be twisted by the British government which would love to see a Caucasian born at the helm of affairs in India , like they once did...So, all the more important that the mother-son duo be exposed and show how far they would go in their greed for power and wealth which of course they have taken and stashed away all over the world ..

Then he should be an Italian citizen not a British citizen !

There is no doubt that Rahul Gandhi is an Indian citizen. But it is also necessary to know how and why his nationality is shown as British in documents of a British corporate body. This is what the Ethics committee of parliament is to investigate. 

Yes it needs to be clarified. What reply wil Rahul give?
