In the present condions rampant atrocities, even in remote places, it's , women should erase the self drawn boundaries in the name of traditions, and save themselves from these atrocities. Though more women are coming out in to the open, there's still to be done.

No city was ever safe. It is only now that with electronic media coverage and English medium medias also covering rape stories that suddenly cities look unsafe. Earlier on the educated class was conveniently able to ignore but cannot do so now.

I agree to this as previously also crime against women was rampant but it is now that women are no longer keeping mum about it. They are coming to the fore to complain, which is a good thing. Only awareness among commoners can help fight criminals in our society.

Rape cases have increased , or it could be that ladies are filing complaints regardless of the public opinion. When the law and order situation is bad in any city , criminal elements are emboldened which is the case with cities like Bangalore and Delhi . But , Mumbai has always been a safe city for ladies .

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

We've heard the proverb "A chain is as strong as its weakest link."

Maybe "A city is as decent as its dirtiest criminal"
