I have visited Hyderabad once in 2009 and liked the city a lot.It is well planned and has a lot of greenery around and also good connectivity by road.....But the saddest part was Char Minar which is a very nice building but in my opinion is totally neglected by the authorities , with shops and all kinds of activities going on around it.I was shocked to see it expecting quite something else

I realized it. But the rulers are nincompoops who have a scanty knowledge of heritage and antiquity. Still, it has its own charm.

It's not the case of Char Minar only. All historic monuments of India are loved by tourists, but neglected their importance by we Indians. :(

It's not the case of Char Minar only. All historic monuments of India are loved by tourists, but neglected their importance by we Indians. :(

Our rulers only have pride for our cultural and national heritage while making big talks but when it comes to providing money to take care of that heritage, they turn the other way! :blink:

It is no doubt a very imposing and beautiful structure and thats why I feel that care should have been taken to show it in the waay it is meant to be...

I have visited Hyderabad many times before and would be pleased to visit the city again whenever possible. One among my favorite ones.
